Pauline Hanuise invites you to participate in a participative live painting workshop.
A unique experience reserved for a small group of 16 people maximum.
You will have the opportunity to discover in detail and live the whole process of creation of her paintings.
You will create together with her one large format (150×120 cm) and one smaller format during this experience.
The technique Pauline uses for this kind of painting consists in superimposing several phases.
The first phase consists in pouring paint on the canvas. You can participate by dropping/ throwing the different colours on the canvas, by making the paint flow in certain directions.
The second phase consists of creating matter and cells with different products.
This is a phase of transformation that you will be able to watch evolve.
In his own words:
I love to draw parallels between this process of creating cells in paint and the cells in our bodies or even what happens in our universe. It’s the same mechanism at work – from the infinitely large to the infinitely small – on the canvas, in our lives, in our bodies. And it is also the process of the event itself, the human connections that are created during the event, the trajectories of people, etc.
The canvas will then have to be allowed to dry. This is why you will be invited to come back on Sunday afternoon to see the final result.
On this occasion, these two paintings as well as three others of his “Yemaya”, “Leia” and “In the deep” will be put up for sale in the form of a silent auction. You will have the opportunity to acquire one of Pauline Hanuise’s paintings, two of which you will have participated in the creative process.
This process will have been filmed in time-laps and will be an integral part of the work.
Throughout the evening, a DJ will mix a set specially designed to inspire you and develop your creativity.
All this will be accompanied by a buffet and “zen” drinks prepared by home chef Stéphane R.
To be sure to be able to participate, you just have to react quickly and register.
We look forward to welcoming you to our house gallery for a very original Catch-Art Experience.
Thank you Pauline for this memorable moment of sharing that you offer us.
