Discover his/her universe

Born in Oupeye in 1980, of an Italian mother and a Belgian father, Raphaël Demarteau discovered the world of painting by travelling a lot: in 1998, he flew to Victoria (Canada) where he got a taste for realistic drawing and numerous pictorial techniques.

After a few years of exhibitions in Belgium, the love of travelling never left him and he set off again to discover the world, to Mexico and several Asian countries where he returned with an impressive series of drawings and various projects.

He won the Lambert Darchis scholarship and completed a Master's degree in new techniques at the Rome University of Fine Arts. This rich stay will complete his training as a painter at Saint-Luc Liège.
