Benoit Courti is a self-taught French photographer who gives black and white a special flavour. His photographs, which he describes above all as the result of encounters, convey a spectrum of unexpected sensations as they show particular atmospheres. A focus on simple subjects, minimal compositions while preserving a strong dose of expressiveness and symbolism.

No doubt because Benoit is also a composer, we find a real sense of harmony in his photographic work.
